Do you have a love of the outdoors and connecting children with nature?
Due to popular demand we are starting a second Forest School Club, after school at Avanti Park School on tuesdays from November and are seeking an assistant and parent volunteers.
Assistants should have experience of working with children and a love of facilitating child-led play. Experience of Forest School is desirable but not essential (we will give you an induction). This person should have a love of spending time outdoors and engaging children with the natural world (in all weathers!). Pay between £10-£11 per hour dependent on experience. If your child attends the school they are welcome to attend (pay adjusted accordingly). We are looking for an assistant for our tuesday club.
Our parent-volunteers provide a valuable set of extra eyes, ears and hands to faciliate the children with their play and activities. No experience of Forest School necessary but a love of working or playing with kids essential. You receive a free place for your child in return for your help. We are looking for parent volunteers for both our tuesday and thursday clubs.
Both roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
