Half-term Outdoor Fun!
Join us for some farm and forest fun and frolics this October half-term!
At The Community Farm we've got the wonderful 'BBC Chef of the year' Jo Ingleby cooking up a storm with the little ones for our Pick, Cook, Eat! Children's Cookery Day. During the day they'll get the chance to harvest crops from the farm's beautiful fields and then learn the skills to transform them into a tasty vegetarian feast to share!
We have a Farm Explorer Day for the ultimate farm experience - harvesting, simple cookery, mini-beast hunts, pond-dipping, outdoor games...the works!
To top it off, we also have our popular Forest School running in Chew Stoke. Children will be learning safe use of hand tools, fire making, campfire cookery and making music from the forest!
