Join us for some Festive Family Foodie Fun at The Community Farm this winter.
We'll be cozying up in our yurt (equipped with wood-burner) giving the opportunity for children and parents to come together to harvest crops from our fields and learn how to make some tasty treats in time for the Christmas festivities. During the session, families will work together to prepare a festive, seasonal feast to share!
NB. All dishes prepared will be vegetarian and we always design the menu to accommodate any dietary requirements of the group.
We will be holding two separate cookery sessions for different age ranges:
10am-12pm: 2-7 year olds (must be accompanied by an adult)
NB. This is just used as a guide so if you have two children that fall in different age groups please use your own judgement.
"Fabulous day, very inspirational...beautiful setting. Really lovely helpful folk inspiring us! Emotional."
"The setting and the flow of activities was just so perfect! Your team was fantastic and Jo incarnates a subtle mix of charisma with humbleness that adds onto this great 'feel good factor'! There is so much passion behind your work that it genuinely shines out. We will come back for sure!"
What do the kids say?
"I love making the bread, picking the veg and eating it all at the end - YUM YUM!! I had never had frittata but I LOVE it!! I would love to come again. Thank you very much!!! PS. My fave bit was running over the soil!!"
'It was one of the best days of my life!'
'Picking veg and chopping them was my favourite bits'
'I am happy I can give food to mummy'
Due to space constraints in our yurt we ask that children are accompanied by only one adult.
Recommend a friend and you both get a delicious 10% off!
