If your kids are aching to get outdoors, get muddy and get creative then here's their chance! This half-term we're running a Forest School for 8-11 year olds in a stunning private woodland in Chew Stoke, over looking Chew Valley Lake.
We'll be getting up to all sorts of woodland fun and frolics including fire skills, cooking over a campfire, safe use of knives and hand-tools for wood craft activities, playing games and getting muddy!
It's the perfect half-term antidote to the school classroom!
Forest School is a valuable opportunity for children to:
- work co-operatively and build trust and respect for one another
- learn new practical skills
- develop self-esteem and independence
- connect with nature around them
- have fun!
