If your kids are aching to get outdoors, get muddy and get creative then here's their chance! This half-term we've got something special - we've got two Forest School days for 8-12 year olds in a stunning woodland in Chew Stoke.
We'll be getting up to all sorts of woodland fun and frolics including fire skills, cooking over a campfire, safe use of knives and hand-tools for wood craft activities, playing games and getting muddy!
It's the perfect half-term antidote to the school classroom!
Forest School is a valuable opportunity for children to:
- work co-operatively and build trust and respect for one another
- learn new practical skills
- develop self-esteem and independence
- connect with nature around them
- have fun!
